I don’t disagree with the message KONY 2012 is spreading but rather the fact they are misinforming. While appealing to the masses requires a certain finesse that might be better served when simplified, it’s wrong to mislead the public into believing that they are fighting for some grand cause that’s not even within the scope of the campaign.
